Texas-sized Flavor
It doesn’t get anymore “Texas” than beef brisket. And while preparing Texas beef brisket can be intimidating, we’ve already taken care of the flavor for a no-fuss BBQ favorite.
Our Texas beef brisket is perfect for when you’re craving BBQ – but not the effort that goes into prepping it. After all, nothing beats BBQ at home – whether it’s the feeling you get when presenting your friends and family with a perfectly cooked, fall-apart-tender Texas beef brisket or their reactions to the first delicious bite.
For a Texas beef brisket that’s worth bragging about, we use USDA Choice beef that’s a product of the USA. Then, we give it the Texas treatment by pre-seasoning it with a smoky BBQ rub for bold flavor that’s as big as the Lone Star State.
Easy to Prepare Texas Beef Brisket
Our Texas beef brisket is perfect for smoking or oven cooking. If you want to make your brisket even more Texas-style, use a smoker to get that perfect smoke ring and an intensified flavor. Fill a small metal container with water and place it close to the heat source. Then, place the seasoned brisket directly on the rack and open-cook for 2 hours. Afterwards, wrap the brisket in aluminum foil and cook for 4 more hours, or until the thickest part reaches 160ºF.
If you’re using the oven, simply fill a small ovenproof dish with water and place it close to the heat source. Next, place the brisket on an ovenproof tray and cook for 2 hours at 250ºF. Then, wrap your brisket in aluminum foil and cook for 4 more hours, or until the thickest part reaches 160ºF.
No matter the cooking method you choose, you’ll get the best results from a low-and-slow process to break down the meat into tender deliciousness.
